I've been sitting online for the past couple of hours promising myself I was going to do school work and yet I've only managed to accomplish messing around on tumblr and here lol

So okay something that is bothering me a lot.

Ive seen so many people say "Cas is like the third Winchester."

You may believe that, it is your right to do so, but trying to shove that idea down other peoples throats is not ever going to make it true.

I swear, I used to like Cas. But now I just hope he gets killed off and never returns because I am so sick of hearing about him.

Not to mention I'm maybe a bit biased because of all the bad stuff he's done to Sam. Sams kindamaybesorta my favorite and I am still BITTER and no I will never let it go lolol

Uhguhguhg I just needed to vent that.

Despite this I am sooo excited for Friday! I sense a whole bunch of hurt!crazy!Sam with the photos from 7x02 and although it will tug my heart strings I am very much looking forward to the pain. Like cannot contain myself.

I agree 100% with this post, people are entitled to their opinions but yeah, trying to shove it down people's throats isn't the way to go and not everyone is going to agree with other people's opinions. Seriously all this "Castiel is the third Winchester brother and family, Castiel is so popular and everyone loves him, The writers wouldn't dare do this because of the ratings and i'm not watching Supernatural without Cas" make me go




I was indifferent to Castiel in the beginning of season 4, he never used to bug me but i didn't feel anything for him either, to me he was just there. Then later in season 4 , i started to dislike him and me joining the fandom, plus castiel's irrelevance in season 5 and his behaviour in season 6 and the fact that some portion of the fandom actually blame the Winchester's for doing this because they didn't give him a hug has made me dislike the character - a lot!


I am also really excited for the season 7 premiere as well, especially with the stuff i've heard about *hopefully* this season being more brotherly with the Winchesters!!! Give me hurt!Sam, awesome big brother!Dean and the impala and i'm a happy fan girl.

Exactly! I can not believe people think the Winchesters are at fault for the things Cas has done. Cas is a powerful supernatural being who has been alive since at least the dawn of man, he's not some woobie character who breaks down because he wasn't hugged enough. smh.

Anyway I'm glad you agree! \o/ I always worry when I post stuff like this that I will be attacked by somebody lol

*hugs* I'm glad we both agree with each other about certain things on supernatural! so Yay! Oh i totally agree, i think some people actually forget he's an angel and not human and you know, doesn't actually have a soul.

Oh i know i always worry as well when i post stuff about Castiel, but i always try to be respectful(ish) in my posts in my journal about supernatural to others who don't share my own opinion, but it's my opinion plus it's my own journal so *shrugs* Hey when did you start to dislike castiel, as i'm curious if its the same as my reasons?

Season 7 is so close! But i'll have to wait an extra day as i live in the UK *sighs*

It's hard to say when I really started to dislike Castiel. When he let Sam out of the panic room, despite the fact he was just "following orders" or whatever I just could not forgive his character for it. Then with the fifth season it just kind of built from there and increased 10x with the amount of manipulation this past season add to that the fact he purposely left Sams soul in hell along with breaking his wall? uhg makes me want him plucked asap.

I just have a soft spot for Sam and Cas keeps doing bad stuff to him ;_;
Not to mention it directly effects Dean as well.

It also didn't help that the whole 'NEEDS MORE CAS' stuff went down in the fifth season and people started to get really rabid, and fast forward to now, I keep hearing certain people talk about how Sam should be the one to die instead of Cas and then Dean/Cas can go skip on rainbows or whatever and it's not helping my opinion of the character.

I think i started to get annoyed with him and the angels (apart from zachariah(sp) who i loved to hate, as he was introduced an episode later, i think, he was awesome) around 4.16, just for the fact that that episode was awesome until Sam and Dean left half way through and it just became about the angels and just became boring. Again like you, i disliked Castiel when he let Sam out of the panic room, but what really pissed me off was that he never revealed it and blamed the apocalypse just on Sam and Dean in 5.02 when it was mostly the angels and demons fault.

I agree fandom didn't help with how popular Castiel was so it just put me off the character even more.

The ones who want just Cas/Dean with Sam gone are some of the extreme!fans who give fans a bad name. Most of the time i avoid them like the plague. There is no way that Supernatural would survive without the Sam and Dean dynamic.

I watch the episodes on saturday but i don't live stream them.

Yeah it still really bothers me that it was never revealed that Cas let Sam out of the Panic room. :/

And the extreme fans really kill this fandom. I have a feeling things are going to get nasty with the season premier.

Oh yeah, the extreme fans do wreck this fandom sometimes and it feels sometimes like they are a few fries short of a happy meal.

Oh i've learned that there is always going to be some part of the fandom that bitches and moans, mostly i stay away. Hey do you still post and visit ontd_spnparty? As i don't really read there anymore, as it feels like there are way too many Cas fans on that site and most of the posters i don't agree with. I sometimes go on there to get some of the gifs and read a few comments, but it's mostly for the gifs lol.

Yeah I'm still over there. There's a nearly even split between people who want Cas there and people who want him gone, from what I can tell, and it's been just a bit tense lol

I don't comment too frequently, but it is kinda fun to watch people get really worked up over tiny things, which they do often.
